Our policy at Sufi Films is to permit all of our films to be copied for private home viewing, absolutely free of charge. We are not here to make a big business or live a fancy life. We are dedicated to serving our Lord and Creator, and are so very happy to let as many people watch our productions as possible.

We do ask that people not make copies for resale, as this destroys our ability to fund and create new programs.

Unfortunately, some people do engage in pirating our films for profit and they end up hurting everyone, including themselves. While that theft is written for us as saddiqa (charity), we pray that these people stop these activities, and others refrain from supporting them by purchasing their pirated films. Pirated films are copies of copies and never the same high quality standards used to make original prints.

Sufi Films was first and foremost established to help deliver a unique message to an uniformed audience, not to turn a profit. If forced to produce films that focus purely on profit, Sufi Films would not be able to establish the strong voice of reason it wishes to convey.

Sufi Films work relies upon the generosity of those who understand the importance of developing a strong voice in the public forum that defines rather than permits others to define the values and beliefs of nearly one-fifth of the worlds population.

Peace is only possible once you "Know thy Neighbor"  as they truly are, not how they are defined by people who prosper from fear and despair.

Contributing to Sufi Films

Our goal at Sufi Films is to provide people with a source of accurate information about Sufism and help them to open their hearts and discover heavenly teachings.

The films we produce take a lot of time and effort. It is not the same as shooting a lecture where very little editing is necessary to complete a program. 

All of our films eventually are placed on-line for free viewing, and we also permit people to copy the films for private home use. But we do ask that no one makes copies and resells them for a profit without prior permission and a signed agreement. Unfortunately, many do not follow this simple request, and our  films are pirated. We are happy they are being seen, and the message heard, but we could really use your help in covering these losses and continuing to make films that portray Islam in a positive light.

The sales we do make are very limited, and rarely come close to covering the costs of production of our films let alone the overhead to run this site.

Wire Transfer Donations

We have a Depository Account in Lebanon to receive larger contributions. Donations over a few hundred euros should be wired to this account to avoid excessive PayPal fees. After you Contact Us we will send you all the banking information which will provide the account number, swift code, beneficiary name, Iban, etc., that you will need to transfer money into the holding account from your bank account.

We will seek to immediately convert all funds to hard metal assets (gold & silver) until such time that we utilize the funds for the intended purposes, as we believe there will be a period of intense run-away inflation in the very near future.  Metals are held in a secure safe, in an undisclosed location.

PayPal (On-line) Donations

For those sending smaller donations under a few hundred dollars, the cost of a wire transfer may not be the most frugal way to make a donation. We thus recommend making a donation through our established PayPal account which accepts credit card donations. PayPal donations can be made to our sister non-profit at info@brokenearth.org account. Please specify what the donation is intended for, and please avoid using this account for larger donations.

Western Union Donations

Alternatively, donations up to U.S. 7,500 dollars can be sent from a Western Union office, and up to U.S. 2,500 dollars sent on-line, can be made through Western Union utilizing a credit card, or establish bank account. Registration with Western Union is easy. Donations sent through Western Union should be sent to  James McConnell, and will be picked up at a local office in Cyprus (specifying an office is not required). You will be given a confirmation code, which you must e-mail to us in order for us to be able to pick-up the money. Please specify the amount, code, and general purpose of the donation, if any.
